What is the difference?

The single difference between Britax Boulevard and Britax Advocate is that the Britax Advocate features Side Impact Cushion Technology which is not present in Britax Boulevard. Instead of this, the Britax Bolevard features True Side Impact Protection. When you look at Side Impact Cushion, you can see extra wide head wings on either side of the seat. This makes a significant difference as it measures 20.5 inches in width and Boulevard wings are 18.5 inches wide. Therefore, if you have to fit in 3 seats across a row in a family vehicle of standard size Boulevard could be a better choice. If you do not mind paying some extra dollars going for Britax Advocate is better choice as it gives side impact protection during collisions. On the other hand, if Britax Boulevard lacks side impact protection it does not mean that it is substandard. Its True Side Impact Protection does offer some advantageous side impact protection. If you cannot extend your budget, you can choose Boulevard.
